left/right

Alright, so an element to life is pursuing happiness, right?

Most every book I've read in the past year has been about pursuing your "big dream." I've also extracted that one finds fulfillment and happiness in pursuing their life's "big dream." However, many people lose sight of their big dream and settle for letting life settle over them.

Here's where my personal debate kicks in. Is my big dream to be an engineer? Sometimes I feel it would be a neato job, but perhaps not fulfillng. Or maybe it still is my big dream, the Mines stress is just tampering with my thoughts.

I was also all gung ho about finding an internship this summer. But, umm, no. I've worked full time every summer since sixth grade, and was half time in fifth grade. I want to get my field session done, and take my wicked cool Young Life kids to camp, and BMX/Mountain Bike race my brains out. If I get the cobra done, I could live off its proceeds and enjoy my summer. Having an internship is like a gateway into the adult working world. I just wanna be a kid for one more summer.

Oh yeah, and I found a Santa Cruz V10 downhill bike for sale for an amazing price... mmmm.... downhill racing....mmmm....

Time to get ready for my tests tonight.
